My quick take on the program after a few days using it: Article Demon is one of the most power backlinking programs out on the market now. Now in truth, there are actually quite a few Article Directory submitters on the market right now:

Article Demon Features
Automatically Create User Accounts With Directories -- This saves you a lot of time. You basically hit a button and ArticleDemon creates an account with each of your directories. Furthermore, it also features an automatic account activation too. This means you don't need to manually click on thousands of activation links after first setting up the program. This is a pretty big deal as it saves you a lot of time.Built In Spinner-- Article Demon features a built in spinner. Most people by now know that to make article submissions result in backlinks, you need to spin, otherwise you get hit with the duplicate content penalty. While the built-in-spinner doesn't do what say the top spinning programs on the market do (e.g. like The Best Spinner), it's still pretty darn effective. It comes with a built in list of synonyms too so you can do an effective job at spinning an article directly from the program.
Built in Support for 5 Directories -- Article Demon has support right out of the box for the following article directory scripts: ArticleMS, ArticleDashboard, ArticleBeach., and Wordpress. You can expect more in the future as the program get's updated. I've read a few other Article Demon Review articles that agree with me here.
Ability to Add New Article Directories -- You can easily add additional article directories to the default article directory list. This make the program pretty darn powerful if you take the time to create your own article directory list. By default, the program comes with 100 directories right out of the box with another 200 more for download.
Monitor Published Posts -- ArticleDemon can check to see if your submissions have gone through. One of my biggest complaints before was the fact that with most article directory submissions, you can never tell how effective your backlink run has been because you don't know if your posts are being accepted. Article Demon takes the guesswork right out with the ability to tell you this.
AntiBot Software -- This is the same feature as Bookmarking Demon has. It basically slows the submission process down to mimic that of a real human. This increases the success rate of the postings.
Private Proxies and Visual Aid Capatcha Breaking -- If you REALLY want to automate the entire process, you can use their Visual Aid service which allows you to outsource the capatcha solving. Support for private proxies really allows you to do mass submissions.
So What's So Good About Article Demon
- Easy To Use -- Well for one, it has a host of features that all work together to make this program pretty powerful. Some of the competitor products have some of the same features, but non of them put the features together into an easy-to-use package.
- Fantastic Support -- There is also the issue of reliability and future updates. Edwinsoft is a pretty well known company in the Internet Marketing world with a reputation for offering good support for their products. Bookmarking Demon, Edwinsoft's other program, has been around for 3 years now and has been actively updated and upgraded. It's currently in it's Version 5 stage. So we can expect future updates for years.
- Ability To Add Your Own Directories --The ability to add your own directories is a pretty good feature. I know other article submitters like Article Robot offer this ability too (and come with more article directory script support right out of the box), but Article Demon really has a good interface that let's you EASILY create new accounts, activate them, add new directories to your master list, and then submit. The easy to use interface really counts for a lot.
- Automation -- And finally, the ability to completely automate your submissions through Visual Aid services is another big one. Personally, I can't stand submitting captachas over and over all day. If that's what I have to do all day, I simply won't use directly submission software. With visual aid, you can automatically break those annoying capatchas. The cost is literally the cost: you will pay 4 dollars per 1000 capatchas solved. This can really rack up a bill if you start going on a mass submission frenzy. Support for private proxies is also another useful features that people who really want to submit a lot of articles will take advantage of. A lot of the other Article Demon review posts mention this -- so I assume it's a universally liked feature. Most people forget to mention the cost of automation, however. It's easy to rack up hundreds of dollars a month using visual aid, especially if you submit to a lot of directories in one run.
So What's Bad About Article Demon?
Well not everything is perfect about this program. Here are the big negatives:Price -- at 126 dollars, Article Demon may be too expensive for the average person. There is other software out there that offers similar functionality for half the price (Magic Article Submitter, Article Robot)
Could Use More Directory Script Support -- Article Demon supports 5 different types of directories. I'd like to see the program support more types. This would make the program even better. I expect in future updates they will add that support
Directory Adding has Bugs -- There are a number of article directories that are supported (the type of directory is), but Article Demon fails to recognize them when you try and add them. This seems to be a flaw in the recognition algorithms. I hope they fix it in the next update.
Final Word
If you are just a casual internet marketer or dabbling with SEO, I don't think this program is worth the money to buy. The program itself won't help you rank -- it's how you use it that will make all the difference. I suggest you learn the basics of SEO and ranking sites (and get some hands on experience) before shelling out for a program like this. As I said, it won't do miracles, no matter what the sales page promises. To get this thing to give you the results you are looking for, you are going to have to know how to use it! It's expensive, but you'll use it all the time. Just make sure you put together your own custom list of article directories -- the default 100 that come with the program will be juiced out completely in a short period of time because of all the use. For real power, you need to invest in some good private proxies, do high quality, very high unique spins with something like The Best Spinner, and utilize Visual Aid to deal with the capachas.
